Charlie Toomer

During Charlie’s time at CFT as an Architectural Technician, he has overseen the projects technical building models from concept to completion, using current and tradition structural building methods. His most notable projects are Keyham Unabridged, and Off the Bench.

At CFT, Charlie has pioneered projects focusing on his architectural ethos of structural integrity of buildings and how to mix engineering and art. Charlie has taken over the management of the CFT work football team and has led them on an unbeaten run in this year’s league. Before becoming a Founding Member at CFT, Charlie has worked on numerous building sites to further his understanding of how sites are run, common problems that occur through architects and other trades, and becoming more versed in the technical application of different materials to help with future projects. He has been involved in several live projects with local populace, bringing parks to life using football goal inspired stages allowing for children to interact and play with each other. Charlie graduated from the University of Plymouth alongside his colleagues at CFT, building on a partnership they have developed from the age of 18.

During his spare time Charlie plays non-league football and is a keen investor always looking to broaden his portfolio. He likes to spend time with his family and is an avid esports competitor.
