Alastair Freeman

During Alastair’s time at CFT as Project Manager, he has undertaken the role of overseeing the design process and development of multiple projects, most notably the Mutley Barracks Social Housing Development and Collaborative Care.

 

While at CFT, Alastair has pioneered projects focusing his architectural ethos through helping the more vulnerable members of society and providing stepping stones for a world of better equality. Taking over as president of the CFT social society, he has been able to achieve a huge amount in such a short space of time, setting up two sports teams, social events, guest appearances from world-renowned lectures, and exhibitions within the local community, growing the society to the biggest it has ever been. Before starting up CFT, Alastair spent time in New Zealand working for ASC Architects leading a dynamic and successful residential and healthcare project. Alastair graduated from the University of Plymouth alongside his Founding Partner's at CFT, building on a partnership they developed at the age of 18.  

 

In his spare time, Alastair is a keen sports player, playing touch rugby for Exeter and being called up to the Wales National Team. He enjoys spending time climbing in the hills of North Wales and sailing with his family.
